Registration Payment & booking Process

Bookings may be made by completing the on-line registration form at www.brandonhillschool.com  Brandon Hill language school reserves the right to refuse bookings.

Upon receipt of confirmation a non refundable 25% deposit is due. Remaining balance should  reach the school account no later than 4 weeks prior to student’s arrival. All payments should be paid in Euro. Late registering students (within 14 days of course commencement) must pay fees due in full as soon as an invoice is received.
Payments may be made by bank transfer or by Pay Pal.

All bank charges are the responsibility of the student. All payments must be marked with your invoice number and student’s name. We cannot guarantee that we have received payment unless bank transfers carry this information.

Cancellations Policy

Notice of cancellation must be provided in writing and applies from the date it is received by Brandon Hill language school. We strongly recommend that you arrange insurance care to protect you against the possibility of cancellation through illness or accident.

Bookings may be cancelled 3 weeks prior to commencement but you will loose your 25% deposit. 8-21 days notice prior to commencement 50% of full payment retained. 7 days notice or less 70% of full payment retained After commencement of course, no refund will be provided There is no refund of fees for days missed during the course or for late arrival or early departure.

Insurance & Health

Students are strongly recommended to take out full travel and health insurance in advance. EU Nationals should bring E111 Forms or an EHIC. Students are responsible for their own personal effects during courses. We will not cover costs that may arise as a result of the need for repatriation of a student. Students are advised to insure against loss of fees and/or expenses that may be incurred due to cancellation or sudden early departure from a course.

Visas

Students from EU countries do not need a visa to enter Ireland. A full list of the requirements, costs and information about student visas can be found at Irish Immigration Office Please contact your nearest Irish embassy for detailed information and allow at least 8 weeks to process your VISA application. The Irish Department of Justice requires proof of payment and proof of proper medical and travel insurance before they will issue a visa. In case of a visa refusal we will refund all fees paid minus 150 euros administration costs. Written proof of the visa refusal from the Embassy is required.

Unacceptable Behaviour

Brandon Hill language school reserves the right to refuse admission or terminate a course without refund if a students’ behaviour is deemed unacceptable or damaging to the reputation of the school. Additional charges for flights and other costs will not be covered by the school and are the responsibility of the students/ parents.

Classes

Size max 15; average classes have between 08 to 15 for Junior Summer Courses. If class sizes are smaller than 3 persons, a more intensive English Language programme will be put in place.

Accomodation

The Accommodation Manager is available to students and all are welcome to discuss any situation with her. There is a code of conduct that must be respected between family and student. The details of this will be given to students & their parents to read & sign at the initial booking stage. If any problems arise the Accommodation Manager will endeavour to resolve this in the best interests of the student, the family. : Should a student wish to change family, we will do so after giving due consideration and in discussion with both student and family.

Liability

Brandon Hill language school reserves the right to cancel any arrangements or bookings without prior notice if payment conditions are not met. Brandon Hill language school gives notice that all arrangements for transport, activities or for accommodation are made by Brandon Hill language school as an agent upon the express condition that they shall not be liable for any injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity which may be
occasioned either by reason of any defect in any vehicle or through the acts of default of any company or persons engage in conveying the passenger, or in carrying out the arrangements of the programmes, or otherwise in connection therewith or of any family member. No responsibility is accepted for losses or additional expenses due to delays or changes in air, sea, rail, bus or other services, sickness, weather, war, quarantine, strikes, or other liability.  Brandon Hill language school reserves the right to alter prices, conditions and details without notice. The right is also reserved to decline any person at any time without liability.

Publicity Materials

Accepting these terms & conditions Brandon Hill language school is granted permission to use comments or testimonials and photographs images of students in our official promotional material.
